India Eisley, 18, to Play Young Angelina Jolie in Maleficent

India Eisley has taken on a major role — she’ll be playing a younger version of Angelina Jolie in the upcoming Disney flick Maleficent.

According to Yahoo Movies, the 18-year-old actress is the latest star cast in the Disney Sleeping Beauty reboot. The film is still in the early stages of signing on actors, with Super 8‘s Elle Fanning rumored to be in the running to play Princess Aurora.

Eisley bares an uncanny resemblance to a young Jolie, and shares the same dark hair, piercing eyes, porcelain skin and full lips as the Oscar-winning actress. Her Hollywood resume includes starring as Subject 2/Eve in Kate Beckinsale‘s Underworld: Awakening and appearing as main character Ashley Juergens on ABC’s teen drama The Secret Life of the American Teenager (opposite The Descendants‘ Shailene Woodley).

Jolie has already spoken about starring as one of Disney’s most famous villains, having said she and her six kids with fiance Brad Pitt are very excited.

“It’s a really great script. I’m having a lot of fun. I’ve already got my horns fitted,” Jolie told Entertainment Weekly in March. “My kids are very happy.”
